Strategy added 535 more BTC for $43 million days after Michael Saylor said the company may consider selling part of its bitcoin holdings for the first time.
Strategy spent a whopping $1.28 billion to buy 17,994 more bitcoin last week, raising its total holdings to 738,731 BTC worth about $50 billion at current prices.
Tokyo-based bitcoin treasury firm Metaplanet reported a fiscal 2025 net loss of 95 billion yen ($619 million), largely due to a 102.2 billion yen ($666 million) drop in the value of its bitcoin holdings.
DDC Enterprise says it bought another 100 bitcoin, lifting its stash to 1,988 BTC as it pushes ahead with an aggressive, long-term treasury strategy despite bitcoin trading around $67,000.
Metaplanet bought $451 million worth of bitcoin in the fourth quarter, lifting its holdings to 35,102 BTC as it doubles down on a high-risk, long-term treasury strategy.
