Job Summary
Responsibilities:
📍Perform technical due diligence on new protocols being considered for Kiln’s roadmap. 📍Own the end-to-end integration of new protocols, configure and run validator nodes from testnet to mainnet. 📍Deploy and operate high-availability validator nodes infrastructures across multi-cloud/bare metal Kubernetes environments. 📍Actively contribute to IaC improvements: observability and monitoring, scaling and performance, security and compliance, incident response and debugging. 📍Act as the technical expert for your protocol domains and promote best practices for validator operations. 📍Participate in Kiln’s protocol adoption strategy: provide insight to Product and GTM teams, liaise with protocol foundations teams, and represent Kiln in ecosystems and events.

Requirements
📍4+ years of experience as DevOps/SRE, with strong focus on Infrastructure-as-Code and Kubernetes. 📍1+ years of experience in blockchain / crypto engineering, with strong understanding of Proof-of-Stake and validator operations. 📍Hands-on experience running validator nodes; professionally or as a hobbyist. 📍Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills; ability to dive deep into blockchain protocol and infra-level issues. 📍Clear communication and confident technical decision-making; ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
