Responsibilities

📍Test quantitative proof of concepts for crypto trading and investment indicators 📍Work with Python, SQL, and BigQuery to analyze large amounts of data 📍Produce institutional-quality fundamental research, in the form of initiation notes and weekly insights for our clients 📍Research blockchain protocols and understand blockchain projects, with a quantitative and statistical approach, to tease out market insights and address clients’ business challenges 📍Create new dashboards to visualize complex smart contract interactions and communicate findings to end users 📍Perform QA on datasets and dashboards to test and validate results 📍Foster and maintain a conducive and collaborative environment for our community, including providing support to Alpha clients 📍Continuously learn and research the crypto space and crypto markets

Requirements

You: 📍Can code fluently in Python and SQL 📍Hold a Bachelor (or more) in Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, or Mathematics 📍Are at the beginning of your career (≤ 2 years of professional experience) 📍Are passionate about crypto and financial markets, and are eager to up-skill and hone your knowledge in the crypto space 📍Are intellectually curious 📍Are independent: Direct experience working in a remote-first environment; and able to work independently whilst collaborating closely with the Nansen team 📍Are self-motivated: Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, empathy, and determination to get things done 📍Are resilient: Open to new ideas, and eager to learn amidst adversity and challenge 📍Have an entrepreneurial spirit and the skills to take a (rough) idea and make it a reality 📍Have great written and verbal communication skills in English
