Job Summary
About the role:
As a Mobile-App Developer at Bitfinex, you will be part of the team that works on the development of the Bitfinex mobile applications. This includes building innovative new features using agile methodologies, ensuring the mobile application remains smooth and responsive as the platform scales, experimenting with new ways to visualize data, and building beautiful reactive trading tools.
Responsibilities:
📍Develop and deploy new features using agile methodologies to provide the most professional trading experience for customers. 📍Ensure the mobile application remains effortlessly smooth, responsive, and real-time as the platform scales to accommodate new user growth. 📍Experiment with and implement new ways to display trading data and platform insights most effectively. 📍Build beautiful reactive applications and trading tools. 📍Modernize and optimize mobile and web applications.
Requirements:
📍Comfortable with high-availability concepts. 📍Highly proficient in JavaScript and ES6+. 📍Thoroughly experienced with React, React-Native (mainly around Expo), Redux and the core principles surrounding these. 📍Familiar with modern front-end pipelines and tools. 📍Experienced with WebSockets and RESTful based APIs. 📍Interested in bringing diverse, innovative applications to life. 📍Interested in modernizing and optimizing different mobile or web applications.
Nice-to-have: 📍Knowledge in native languages (Swift/Kotlin) and familiarity with native build tools (Xcode/Android Studio).
