Job Summary
How you will make an impact
šSupport monthly financial close, including general ledger reconciliations, analytics, and preparation of management reporting and FS under US GAAP šOwn schedules and reconciliations for accruals, prepaids and deposits, fixed assets, investments, leases (ASC 842), intercompany accounts, payroll, share-based compensation and other areas šSupport Payroll accounting including but not limited to recording monthly journal entries and reconciling the payroll accounts including bonuses, commissions, PTO, etc. šPrepare monthly Management Reporting and Financial Statements under US GAAP šGeneral bookkeeping and day-to-day ad-hoc accounting tasks and other projects (e.g. reviewing control matrices and process narratives annually) šAssist with audit preparation, statutory filings and compliance requirements šHelping improve accounting process to increase automation, efficiency and decrease close timelines šPartner cross-functionally with Crypto team, Treasury and FP&A to streamline workflows
What you bring to the team
šCPA or working towards the certification š3-4 years of Big 4 experience š1-2+ years of practical accounting experience is an asset šStrong understanding of US GAAP and reporting requirements is required šStrong sense of ownership and accountability šThe ability to research and resolve technical and operating accounting issues šThe ability to take initiative and work with quick turnaround times & deadlines šExperience working with a heavy volume of data from multiple sources šKeen attention to detail, solid organizational skills and ability to collaborate and prioritize tasks in a remote fast-paced environment šNetSuite or similar ERP experience is an asset
