Job Summary
You Are the Visionary:
📍Develop and maintain a cloud strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives 📍Work in tandem with our engineering and DevOps teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company 📍Collaborate with еngineering leadership, product and finance teams to implement FinOps principles to optimize cloud costs, allocate and apportion costs accurately, and provide clear and actionable insights into cloud spending 📍Collaborate with the InfoSec and compliance teams to ensure critical system security using best in class cloud security and compliant solutions 📍Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures 📍Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data redundancy 📍Monitor security threats and vulnerabilities and respond to incidents 📍Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and identify areas for improvement 📍Monitor cloud expenses and optimize costs through resource rightsizing and usage analysis 📍Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to engineering teams to master their cloud competencies 📍Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for cloud environments 📍Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity 📍Take part in management, including hiring, onboarding and training 📍Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
What Makes You Stand Out:
📍5+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on public cloud platforms. 📍Strong knowledge and practical experience with AWS 📍Strong experience with: 📍AWS Well-Architected Framework 📍Linux distributions: Ubuntu, Debian, and RHEL 📍Networking - AWS (VPC, peering, routing, transit gateway, nat gateway) 📍Message Brokers (Kafka - MSK/Strimzi Kafka, Kafka Connect, Mirror Maker 2) 📍Kubernetes and Helm 📍IaC - Terraform 📍Building logging and monitoring systems (Datadog, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
