Job Summary
Required Qualifications
šJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school; licensed to practice and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. š5+ years of combined experience in a law firm, government, or in-house legal department, with at least 2 years of experience in legislative or government relations roles. šDemonstrated knowledge of federal and state legislative processes and regulatory frameworks affecting fintech or cryptocurrency.
Preferred Qualifications
šExperience working with or within government regulatory bodies or legislative offices. šFamiliarity with financial services regulations including BSA/AML, consumer protection, and money transmission. šPrior experience in a high-growth or startup environment. šCAMS or other compliance certifications a plus.
