Avalanche [AVAX] has broken above <\/span>$7<\/b> after it failed in its attempts to clear the level this month.<\/span><\/p>\n

The move comes as more traditional financial assets find their way onto Avalanche, with a new Delphi Consulting report putting their combined value at more than <\/span>$3 billion<\/b>, up significantly from <\/span>$740 million<\/b> last October.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial assets on Avalanche cross $3B<\/strong><\/h2>\n

According to the report that was produced by <\/span>Delphi Digital<\/span><\/a>, one of the biggest additions that Avalanche saw was from Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Progmat<\/b>, which is Japan’s largest security-token platform, moved to a dedicated Avalanche network in June, bringing about <\/span>$1.2 billion in tokenized securities<\/b> with that move.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other platforms have been growing too.<\/span><\/p>\n

OpenTrade’s<\/b> assets on the network have increased from about <\/span>$60 million to $190 million<\/b>, while Grove Finance is responsible for another <\/span>$260 million<\/b> through products linked to institutional credit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Securitize<\/b> is also working on a European platform that would use Avalanche to trade and settle tokenized securities, and it is expected to cover all <\/span>27 EU countries<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The figures matter because the activity isn’t concentrated in a single product. Securities, credit, and other financial assets are all represented, giving Avalanche a growing presence in the push to bring traditional finance onto blockchains.<\/span><\/p>\n

But there is some context to keep in mind with the report.<\/span><\/p>\n

Delphi Consulting produced it through a paid, fixed-fee engagement with Avalanche, but Delphi says its payment was not tied to the findings, although some of the information used in the study came from Avalanche itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

AVAX gets past $7<\/strong><\/h2>\n

AVAX was also having a stronger day in the market, according to its daily chart<\/span><\/p>\n

The token saw a gain of <\/span>5.9%<\/b> that moved its price to <\/span>$7.175<\/b> on <\/span>August 20<\/b>, and it reached <\/span>$7.317<\/b> at its highest point, with trade volume increasing during the move.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is an important move because <\/span>$7<\/b> has repeatedly acted as its ceiling throughout August, but buyers have finally pushed through it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Staying above that level would allow AVAX to work its way towards the <\/span>$8.60<\/b> area, where it previously saw heavier trading, and beyond that, <\/span>$10<\/b> remains a much bigger test.<\/span><\/p>\n

The breakout is still fresh, but AVAX has risen quickly, and falling back below <\/span>$7<\/b> would put it back in the range that it has been unable to cross since June.<\/span><\/p>\n

For now, the move gives buyers their first meaningful break above August resistance, and Avalanche’s growing financial-asset business provides another key development to watch.<\/span><\/p>\n
