Investors would purchase the same shares through existing channels. They would also retain the same legal and economic rights.<\/p>\n<p>Afterward, shareholders could choose between two ownership records.<\/p>\n<p>The first would use traditional book-entry form through the Depository Trust Company [DTC]. The second would record ownership on a blockchain through Superstate\u2019s transfer-agency infrastructure.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is this a good game for Solana staking ETFs?\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a good step for the Solana [SOL] staking ETF, as tokenized shares would not turn into freely traded cryptocurrency tokens. Rather, they would serve as a blockchain representation of conventional ETF ownership, with investors maintaining their current ownership and rights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Instead of being able to be transferred to other wallets or traded on decentralized exchanges, the shares would stay in Superstate&#8217;s transfer-agency system. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/bitwise-to-explore-tokenizing-bitwise-solana-staking-etf-bsol-with-superstate-other-etfs-may-follow-302851427.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Subject to regulatory approval<\/a>, Bitwise may use BSOL as its initial test case. If the model is successful, it may be extended to other ETFs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Multicoin shuts the door to the $1.65 billion Solana treasury<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, despite having assisted in the establishment of Forward Industries&#8217; $1.65 billion <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/solana-price-prediction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Solana<\/a> treasury plan in 2025, Multicoin Capital has now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/38264\/000110465926057995\/xslSCHEDULE_13D_X02\/primary_doc.xml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fully withdrawn<\/a> its disclosed investment in the company. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yet, the departure does not imply that Forward is leaving Solana. This is because about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/38264\/000168316826003917\/forward_i10q-033126.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">7.81 million SOL equivalents<\/a> were held by the 3rd of August, as Forward continued to accumulate SOL.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This occurs as the price of SOL was up 3.64% over the previous week, trading at $75.57 at press time. However, in the past year, the price has declined by 57% as previously <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/solana-buy-signals-emerge-but-can-sol-break-78-resistance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported by AMBCrypto<\/a>.
