Chainlink [LINK] rose 3.36% over the past day, holding firm while much of the market remained under pressure.<\/p>\n

However, Chainlink\u2019s on-chain activity weakened sharply. This left LINK\u2019s rally dependent on continued spot demand and technical support.<\/p>\n

Can Chainlink\u2019s falling activity hurt LINK price?<\/h2>\n

Artemis data showed that Chainlink\u2019s<\/a> Transaction Count and user activity declined sharply over recent days. Transaction Count fell from 5.2 million to 386,600. That marked its lowest year-to-date level.<\/p>\n

User activity also declined during the same period. Total users fell from 2,700 to 1,000.<\/p>\n

Falling network activity can weaken demand for a token. That risk remained relevant as LINK extended its recent recovery. Even so, price had not yet followed the weaker on-chain data lower.<\/p>\n

Can LINK bulls keep defending $8.69?<\/h2>\n

LINK\u2019s technical structure remained constructive, with buyers maintaining control despite the decline in network activity. The Accumulation\/Distribution indicator showed continued accumulation. It reached its highest level since May 12.<\/p>\n

That suggested buyers had continued absorbing supply during LINK\u2019s recovery.<\/p>\n

The Parabolic Stop and Reverse (SAR) also remained bullish. Its dots stayed below LINK\u2019s price, indicating buyers retained short-term control.<\/p>\n

LINK needed to remain above $8.69 to preserve that structure. The level rejected previous breakout attempts and had become a key support zone. That setup placed traders\u2019 attention on downside liquidity.<\/p>\n

Could LINK retest $8.10 before rising?<\/h2>\n

LINK still faced a downside risk despite the bullish technical indicators.<\/p>\n

CoinGlass\u2019 Liquidation Heatmap showed a dense liquidity cluster near $8.10, below the current price.<\/p>\n

Such clusters can attract price, particularly when on-chain activity is weakening.<\/p>\n

A move into that zone would represent a retracement rather than a full trend reversal. However, the altcoin would need buyers to defend $8.10 quickly. Holding above $8.69 could keep bulls in control. Losing it may expose LINK to the liquidity resting near $8.10.<\/p>\n
