Justin Sun, in his recent slam, has called Trump&#8217;s World Liberty Financial [WLFI] \u201cWorld Tyranny.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This came on the back of WLFI\u2019s new governance proposal to reshuffle its tokenomics, affecting over 62.28 billion WLFI tokens. According to the new proposal, the early supporters holding over $17 billion in WLFI tokens would convert to a \u201c2-year cliff followed by a 2-year linear vest.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, every advisor, partner, team member, etc., will be allocated to a \u201c2-year cliff with a 3-year linear vesting\u201d timeframe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Justin Sun strikes Trump-backed WLFI <\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, within just 7 hours of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wlfi-proposes-4-5-billion-token-burn-as-governance-concerns-and-user-backlash-grow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">proposal being announced<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/justinsuntron\/status\/2044478300236746912\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sun highlighted<\/a> that the proposal was just wrapped up as a \u201cgovernance alignment signal\u201d and a \u201clong-term commitment.\u201d He even went ahead and urged,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strip away the packaging and what you have is one of the most absurd governance scams I have ever seen.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Highlighting the reason behind his criticism, Sun noted how voting against the proposal would lead to the voters getting their tokens locked endlessly, stating,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is not voting. This is coercion.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grounds of Sun&#8217;s criticism<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, referring to his voting power of roughly 4%, Sun highlighted that the proposal also selectively freezes out voting rights of their users.
