In fact, only Invesco\u2019s BTCO, Valkyrie\u2019s BRRR, Wisdom Tree\u2019s BTCW, and VanEck\u2019s HOLD were the ones that recorded inflows less than MSBT.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Does MSBT have an edge in this competitive market? <\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yet despite this, and being late to the launch list, the fees and scale are giving MSBT a secret advantage over others. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Accounting for an expense ratio of 14 basis points in comparison to Grayscale\u2019s BTC\u2019s 1 basis point and BlackRock\u2019s IBIT\u2019s 11 basis points, MSBT is the cheapest fund.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Expressing on the matter, Allyson Wallace, global head of ETFs at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, in a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-04-08\/morgan-stanley-debuts-bitcoin-etf-as-price-slump-rattles-holders?srnd=undefined\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bloomberg interview<\/a> said,<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The demand, especially from the high-net-worth investors, has been quite high. Viewed at the firm level, this is an asset class that is not going away.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Overall, this shift in sentiment shows how traditional institutional leaders are finally understanding the value of crypto.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remarking on the same, <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/morgan-stanleys-bitcoin-etf-mbst-set-to-go-live-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Strategy\u2019s new CEO, Phhong Lee<\/a>, recently hit the nail on the head when he said,\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the last month, Morgan Stanley, Charles Schwab, and Citadel \u2014 among the world\u2019s largest wealth managers, broker-dealers, and hedge funds \u2014 have announced plans to build Bitcoin capabilities. Probably nothing.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Volatile market dynamics <\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This comes at a time when the overall crypto market surged after the <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/resilient-after-crashing-40-why-bitcoin-held-steady-during-u-s-iran-tensions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announcement of an immediate ceasefire<\/a> in the ongoing U.S- Iran tension. In turn, this resulted in the crypto market surging over 4% on the 8th of April.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> However, at press time, the crypto market was back in the hands of sellers and was trading at $2.42 trillion.
