AMBCrypto had reported that the short-term momentum was strongly bearish, as was the market-wide sentiment across the crypto industry.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the higher timeframe price charts also suggested that it was a good buying opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>Ethereum was trading within a weekly bullish swing structure established during the mid-2025 rally.<\/p>\n<p>In recent hours, it nearly retested the 78.6% retracement level at $2,147. Therefore, the higher timeframe <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/ethereum-slips-to-2-2k-as-extreme-fear-hits-why-this-level-decides-next-bull-run\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bullish bias<\/a> was still alive.<\/p>\n<p>Institutions such as Bitmine [BMNR] have also relentlessly bought <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/ethereum-price-prediction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ethereum [ETH]<\/a>. The company was sitting on a <a href=\"https:\/\/dropstab.com\/p\/bitmine-eth-strategy-portfolio-lipdgyz9ho\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$6.38 billion unrealized loss<\/a>, a 38.91% drawdown on its investments.<\/p>\n<p>AMBCrypto noted that just last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/bitcoin-from-124700-to-78000-btcs-rise-fall-and-reality-check\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitmine added another 40,000 ETH<\/a>, worth nearly $90 million, to its treasury. Marked in orange, this divergence was followed by a 6.58% price bounce to $2,395 within 12 hours.<\/p>\n<p>It is possible that the bounce would go toward $2,600 in the coming days.<\/p>\n<h2>Traders&#8217; call to action &#8211; Wait&#8230;!<\/h2>\n<p>A bounce is possible, but it is too risky to bet on.<\/p>\n<p>Scalp traders can use the H4 structure to inform their LTF biases if looking for longs. Alternatively, a bounce toward $2,700-$2,800 can not be ruled out.<\/p>\n<p>This zone was both a liquidity cluster and a key Fibonacci retracement area.
