SOL came in fourth at $2.65 billion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, ZEC dominance extends beyond speculation on the perps markets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Privacy flips memecoin narrative<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Per Artemis <a href=\"https:\/\/app.artemisanalytics.com\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">data<\/a>, the privacy meta emerged as the best-performing narrative in 2025, dominated by ZEC, <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/monero-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Monero [XMR]<\/a>, and the rest. In other words, this was a brutal memecoin lull that also weighed down on SOL&#8217;s performance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beyond price performance, Zcash also showed steady usage.
