The surge has been fueled largely by global market turbulence since the beginning of Donald Trump\u2019s second term. Heightened tensions and uncertainty have strengthened gold\u2019s role as a safe\u2011haven asset.<\/span><\/p>\n

In November 2025, Switzerland\u2019s MKS PAMP relaunched DGLD, a gold\u2011backed token aimed primarily at institutional investors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, PAX Gold, introduced by the New York\u2011based blockchain firm PAXOS, has continued to grow and expand its presence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coupled with that, traditional banking players have also entered the race. As such, HSBC, a central multinational bank and gold custodian, is eyeing the evolution and currently testing its gold token.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
