In fact, the altcoin&#8217;s price fell by 14% over this period as market volatility intensified across the broader crypto market. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>And yet, despite the aforementioned drop, <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/near-price-prediction\/\">NEAR<\/a>&#8216;s on-chain developments do give cause to be optimistic.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"input-sentence~2\">Consider this &#8211; NEAR Intent crossed a major milestone recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NEARProtocol\/status\/1990058840826761511\">recording<\/a> $5 billion in all-time processed volume &#8211; A sign that ecosystem activity has been robust, despite the latest market pullback.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"input-sentence~3\">NEAR market activity defies bearish price action<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span id=\"input-sentence~4\">The network\u2019s user base is expanding too. For instance, monthly active users across Layer-1 blockchains have risen sharply lately. However, NEAR now accounts for nearly 17% of all L1 active users.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>NEAR ranks third among layer 1 tokens, with only Solana and BNB recording higher numbers.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"input-sentence~5\">At press time, the NEAR protocol&#8217;s network recorded 41.8 million users. NEAR\u2019s strong on-chain traction has not translated into short-term price action. In fact, sellers seem to still be in dominance. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"input-sentence~7\">The steep daily decline could be a sign that traders may be prioritizing risk-off moves rather than fundamentals. Especially as market liquidity thins and volatility spikes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"input-sentence~8\">On the weekly chart, NEAR prices have been tied in consolidation phase since March this year. The altcoin&#8217;s price has been fluctuating within the $1.82 and $3.20 price levels for long.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"input-sentence~9\">At the time of writing, the same was approaching the $1.82 support zone after the latest bearish run.
