Historically, such spikes have weighed heavily on risk assets, including the S&P 500. Analyst Joao Wedson linked the increase to a series of U.S. policy and government actions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe increase is driven by intense debates on high trade tariffs, electoral uncertainties, and Federal Reserve decisions on interest rates and fiscal deficits, which generated widespread media coverage of policy ambiguities.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
