However, this time, it has finally broken below it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Based on the recent price action and historical patterns, the break of this key level has opened the path for a potential 35% price crash, with XRP possibly dropping to the $1.20 level in the near future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, with the recent price drop, XRP has also failed to hold above the 200 Exponential Moving Average (EMA) on the daily timeframe. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trading below the 200 EMA indicates strong bearish sentiment and further suggests that sellers are currently in control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During such events, traders and investors mostly look for shorting opportunities once the price shows some signs of upside momentum.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Bearish on-chain metrics\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Looking at the bearish outlook, traders seem to be following the same sentiment as they are strongly betting on the bearish side, according to the on-chain analytics firm Coinglass.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, XRP\u2019s Long\/Short Ratio stood at 0.98 at press time, indicating a bearish bias among traders. long and short positions built, respectively. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These liquidation levels and trader positions clearly reflect the current market
