the ticker symbol \u201cCRCL.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This marks Circle\u2019s second attempt at going public after a failed special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) merger in 2022 due to regulatory hurdles.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Circle&#8217;s revenue spikes<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Circle, supported by financial giants JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup, is aiming for a valuation of up to $5 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite its rising revenue, concerns about Circle\u2019s financial stability have surfaced as the company prepares for its IPO.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2024, Circle reported $1.68 billion in revenue and reserve income, demonstrating consistent growth style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That being said, Matthew Sigel, Head of Digital Assets Research at VanEck, further <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/matthew_sigel\/status\/1907179407657365989\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">highlighted<\/a> a 29% drop in EBITDA, attributing it to rapid expansion, costly service integrations, and the discontinuation of revenue streams like Circle Yield. expansion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, in a more pessimistic outlook, unfavorable market conditions might force the company into a potential acquisition by Coinbase. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lonergan <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Wyatt_Lonergan\/status\/1907223574210859516\" target=\"_blank\" Coinbase acquires Circle for something close to the IPO price, and they never go public.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><strong>USDC vs. USDT<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>While Circle pushes forward with its IPO plans, the stablecoin landscape remains fiercely competitive.<\/p>\n<p>On-chain data from Visa on-chain analytics <a href=\"https:\/\/visaonchainanalytics.com\/transactions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reveals<\/a> that USDT continues to dominate, with a staggering $422.24 billion in transaction volume in March, significantly outpacing USDC\u2019s $248.45 billion.<\/p>\n<p>However, recent trends <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/usdc-hits-60b-market-cap-has-the-stablecoin-moved-closer-to-flipping-usdt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suggest<\/a> a shift in momentum.
