{"id":455575,"date":"2024-12-29T14:30:47","date_gmt":"2024-12-29T09:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/?p=455575"},"modified":"2024-12-30T13:48:38","modified_gmt":"2024-12-30T08:18:38","slug":"bitcoin-how-this-can-push-prices-back-down-to-85k","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/bitcoin-how-this-can-push-prices-back-down-to-85k\/","title":{"rendered":"Bitcoin: How THIS can push prices back down to $85K"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Pi Cycle Top indicator hinted at a possible market bottom near $78k.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selling pressure on BTC was rising, which could push its price further down.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/bitcoin-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitcoin [BTC]<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has been in a tough spot over the last few weeks as the coin has failed to register promising gains.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In fact, the latest analysis suggested that things can get worse, as there is a chance of the coin dropping to $85k again in the near-term.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Bitcoin is in trouble!<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitcoin\u2019s price has been somewhat consolidating in the past few days. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the past 24 hours, the king coin\u2019s price registered a modest 0.5% uptick, making it trade at $94,937.45 with a market capitalization of over $1.88 trillion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While BTC\u2019s price volatility dropped, Alphractal, a popular data analytics platform, posted a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Alphractal\/status\/1873039760983310730?t=VRol14M9STGYTaATauJI_w&amp;s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tweet<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, mentioning a possible obstacle for BTC going forward. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The tweet used BTC\u2019s Short-Term Holder Realized Price metric, representing the average acquisition price of Bitcoin for investors considered short-term holders, typically defined by the movement of coins held for less than 155 days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The tweet mentioned,<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cLosing the 85k region could be disastrous for the price, and a bear market may follow. Therefore, between 85k and 86k, the bulls will do everything they can to maintain the price!\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><b>Will BTC drop to $85k again?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per the Pi Cycle Top indicator, BTC had a possible market bottom at near the $78k mark. Things in the derivatives market also looked concerning. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per CryptoQuant\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoquant.com\/asset\/btc\/summary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">data<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Bitcoin\u2019s taker buy\/sell ratio turned red. This clearly meant that selling sentiment was dominant in the futures market.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is your portfolio green?
