But the latest analysis proposed that there are problems ahead. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Therefore, AMBCrypto planned to investigate to find out what these obstacles are and how well SOL is prepared to tackle them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Solana\u2019s liquidation hurdles\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/solana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">data<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> revealed that Solana bulls pushed the token\u2019s price up by more than 34% in the last 30 days. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This price pump allowed the token to earn a substantial amount of market cap, pushing the number to $106 billion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the meantime, Alphractal, a data analytics platform, recently posted a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Alphractal\/status\/1863262209570173061?t=-Sryqcw5CQ1fFaKmZ0B4hw&amp;s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tweet<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, revealing quite a few interesting updates on Solana. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per the tweet, in the short term, bears are likely to be liquidated around $247 to $252. However, over the past month, a significant number of long positions remain unliquidated. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The tweet mentioned, <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLevels like $210 and below $200 hold the highest concentration of liquidations across exchanges. There\u2019s also a final pool of short positions near $267.\u201d <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This doesn&#8217;t make SOL a viable option for people who are planning to go long on the aforementioned positions, as a rise in liquidation often results in price correction.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>What is causing SOL to drop?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, Solana witnessed an over 5% price correction in the last 24 hours. At the time of writing, the token was trading at $224.94. A possible reason behind this price decline could be a rise in selling pressure. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analysis revealed that SOL\u2019s CEX inflows surged in the last few days when SOL\u2019s price was bullish. This clearly meant that there were more short positions in the market \u2014 a sign of rising bearish sentiment. <\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Read <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/solana-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Solana\u2019s [SOL] Price Prediction<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2024\u20132025\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In fact, a look at SOL\u2019s daily chart suggested that chances of it dropping to $210 were high.
