This was happening despite its major MATIC to POL upgrade, which had the potential to kickstart a revival. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Though the past wasn\u2019t in investors\u2019 favor, latest data revealed that the future might be different.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Polygon\u2019s possible revival\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ali Martinez, a popular crypto analyst, recently <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ali_charts\/status\/1861009482093883409?t=lS8Z7WGUUrqZWCNdOXkdXQ&amp;s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">posted<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a thread on X, pointing quite a few crucial updates on Polygon. POL price did increase by more than 26% in the past week, which can be attributed to the bullish market condition. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">D<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">espite the price hike, only 15% of POL investors were in profit. This was actually a positive development, as the lesser percentage indicated that the chances of profit taking are low. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When investors don&#8217;t cash out to take profit, the chances of a price hike increases. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the meantime, the blockchain\u2019s on-chain activity rose, indicating that new investors were positioning themselves. This was evident from POL\u2019s rising active addresses and transaction volume. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Martinez also talked abut how whale activity was surging. The big pocketed players were on a buying spree as they accumulated 140 million POL tokens in the recent past. This massive hike reflected whales\u2019 confidence in the token, which could be because they expect POL\u2019s price to rise in the coming days or weeks. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apart from this, POL\u2019s price was moving inside a multi-year bullish pattern.
