The price action showed that though momentum and sentiment <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/is-a-bitcoin-bull-run-on-the-horizon-key-metrics-provide-insight\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">were bullish<\/a>, further gains could be tough.<\/p>\n<p>Since June, Solana has traded within a range that reached from $122 to $187. The A\/D indicator has been steadily trending higher in the second half of October to indicate increased buying pressure.<\/p>\n<p>The MACD was also reflecting bullish momentum on the daily chart. It did not yet signal overextended conditions, or that the token could see a pullback. Whales added <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/solana-whales-scoop-up-35m-in-sol-whats-behind-their-move\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$35 million<\/a> worth of SOL to their bags recently, raising the optimism amongst the bulls.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this, the strong likelihood of rejection from $190-$200 comes from the range formation and the liquidity pockets.<\/p>\n<p>In general, it is better to trade a range as it is, instead of looking for a breakout during each retest of the extremes. It is likely that Solana prices would be attracted to this region before a bearish reversal.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Realistic or not, here&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/calculator\/marketcap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SOL&#8217;s market cap in BTC&#8217;s<\/a> terms<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Such a reversal is not guaranteed, especially with <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/bitcoin-price-prediction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitcoin [BTC]<\/a> nearing its all-time high and bullish sentiment gaining traction.
