However, analysts at Bernstein Research remain optimistic, issuing a bullish forecast for the cryptocurrency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Matthew Sigel, Head of Digital Assets Research at VanEck, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/matthew_sigel\/status\/1849088327107969440\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">shared<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> key insights from Bernstein&#8217;s report titled \u201cFrom Coin to Compute: The Bitcoin Investing Guide\u201d on X. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The report projects Bitcoin to reach an ambitious target of $200,000 by next year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analysts Gautam Chhugani, Mahika Sapra, and Sanskar Chindalia identified key factors driving their price target for BTC, stating:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe new institutional era, in our view, could push Bitcoin to a high of $200,000 by the end of 2025.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Worth noting that the king coin has appreciated by around 110% over the past year, according to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the time of writing, its market capitalization stood at $1.3 trillion, comprising over half of the total global crypto market cap of $2.32 trillion.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Institutional adoption fuels Bitcoin\u2019s growth<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bernstein\u2019s extensive 160-page <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Black Book&#8221;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> emphasized the significant role institutional investors are playing in Bitcoin&#8217;s present and future growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the report, ten global asset managers now hold over $60 billion in BTC through regulated exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
