This meteoric rise came after South Korea\u2019s largest exchange Upbit <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/upbit.com\/service_center\/notice?id=4569\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">announced<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the launch of the MEW\/KRW trading pair on 21st October.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/solana-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Solana [SOL]<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-based token, has now become the third <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/memecoins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">memecoin<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to be traded against the Korean Won on Upbit, joining <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/dogecoin-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dogecoin [DOGE]<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/shiba-inu-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shiba Inu [SHIB]<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interestingly, this rally followed a pattern observed just days ago with Injective (INJ). AMBCrypto <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/injectives-inj-pumps-by-16-after-upbit-listing-heres-whats-next\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that on the 17th of October,\u00a0 INJ experienced a 16% price jump immediately after the exchange announced its listing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Worth noting that MEW was initially listed on Upbit in September with trading pairs against <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/bitcoin-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitcoin [BTC]<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and Tether [USDT], which sparked a brief rally. Yet, it was unable to break its March all-time high (ATH) at that time.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>MEW hits an ATH<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following the news, MEW pumped 18%. Furthermore, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) was recorded at 70.21. This signaled overbought conditions, though not excessively so.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus, while there could still be room for further upside, the possibility of a correction also remained.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Bulls tighten their grip on the market<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As MEW continued to ride this bullish wave, it was clear that market participants were increasingly focused on its growing momentum.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A closer analysis of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinglass.com\/currencies\/MEW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">data<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Coinglass revealed that trading volume surged by 302.40%, indicating substantial trading activity. Furthermore, Open Interest (OI) rose by 16.14%, reflecting strong optimism in the market.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Realistic or not, here\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/calculator\/marketcap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">MEW\u2019s market cap in BTC\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0terms<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Data from Coinalyze also showed a positive <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinalyze.net\/cat-in-a-dogs-world\/funding-rate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">funding rate<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and an aggregated<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinalyze.net\/cat-in-a-dogs-world\/long-short-ratio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> long\/short ratio<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of 1.19.
