that BTC ETFs experienced significant outflows, amounting to $52.9 million on 2nd October.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Balchunas highlights top performers<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, amidst this challenging landscape, Eric Balchunas, a senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, has identified two standout Bitcoin ETFs\u2014BlackRock&#8217;s IBIT and Fidelity&#8217;s FBTC\u2014as top performers of the 2020s. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both funds have achieved \u201cstud level\u201d status, boasting over $10 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM), highlighting their resilience and appeal to investors even in turbulent times.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In his X (formerly Twitter) post, Balchunas 400;\">This trend was further confirmed by data from <a href=\"https:\/\/farside.co.uk\/btc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Farside Investors<\/a>, revealing that since its launch, BlackRock&#8217;s IBIT has amassed a staggering $21.5 billion in total inflows, while Fidelity&#8217;s FBTC has attracted $9.9 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> These two ETFs have set the pace, leaving other funds trailing. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, October, traditionally viewed as an \u201cUptober\u201d month following a declining September, has brought mixed results. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the 1st of October, IBIT experienced an inflow of $40.8 million, contrasting sharply with FBTC, which faced outflows of $144.7 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IBIT recorded outflows of $13.7 million on the 2nd of October, while FBTC rebounded with inflows of $21.1 million, illustrating the volatility and shifting dynamics within the ETF landscape.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ethereum ETF performance<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conversely, the performance of <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/ethereum-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ethereum [ETH]<\/a> ETFs has also been underwhelming. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the 1st of October, cumulative outflows for <a href=\"https:\/\/farside.co.uk\/eth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ETH ETFs<\/a> reached $48.6 million, with BlackRock&#8217;s ETHA experiencing no inflows or outflows, while Fidelity&#8217;s FETH saw outflows of $25 million. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ETHA continued to struggle, posting outflows of $18 million on the following day. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whereas FETH maintained a steady position with no flows recorded. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This trend highlights the challenges facing Ethereum ETFs in the current market environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Growing concerns around Grayscale&#8217;s GBTC<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Amidst there was another <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ThisPleb\/status\/1841760466554556604\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">X user<\/a> who asked a very concerning question,<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWould this not then make #GBTC one of the worst performing ETFs of this decade?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This observation is further substantiated by the latest update from Farside Investors, revealing that Grayscale&#8217;s GBTC has experienced a staggering total outflow of $20.1 billion since its launch. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Similarly, Grayscale&#8217;s Ethereum ETF, ETHE, had faced significant outflows totaling $2.93 billion, which surpassed the combined outflows of all other ETH ETFs.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>BTC and ETH price action<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the price front, both cryptocurrencies were experiencing a downward trend, with <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitcoin trading<\/a> at $60,480.03, reflecting a decline of 0.98% in the past 24 hours. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/ethereum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ethereum was trading<\/a> at $2,347.81, showing a more substantial dip of 4.35% over the same
