hashrate has reached record levels. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These difficulties are compounded by the recent halving event and the substantial price declines BTC has experienced over the past few weeks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Bitcoin hashrate spikes<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analysis revealed that the <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/marathon-digitals-250m-bitcoin-bet-heres-everything-to-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitcoin<\/a> hashprice, which measures earnings per unit of hashrate, declined to an all-time low last week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the 4th of August, <a href=\"https:\/\/data.hashrateindex.com\/network-data\/btc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">miners earned<\/a> just $35 per petahash daily, marking the lowest rate recorded historically. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dditionally, the Bitcoin hashrate peaked, achieving an unprecedented level of 673 exahashes per second. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This surge in hashrate signifies increased mining difficulty, making it more challenging for miners to mine new blocks successfully.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This difficulty is exacerbated by recent reductions in transaction fees, adding further financial pressure on miners.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Miners sell holdings as Bitcoin hashrate climbs<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AMBCrypto&#8217;s analysis of miner revenue revealed a significant downturn following the <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/bitcoin-etf-options-could-arrive-by-q4-2024-heres-what-to-expect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitcoin<\/a> halving event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The chart showed daily earnings dropping from approximately $50,000 to $30,000, according to data from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blockchain.com\/explorer\/charts\/miners-revenue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blockchain.com<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This decline was further exacerbated by a recent surge in the Bitcoin hashrate, pushing revenues to around $25,000\u2014a near-historic low for miners.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure noticeable decrease in reserves since April, at approximately 1.813 million BTCs at press time. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the hashrate remains elevated, miner reserves
