The Beacon Chain is the system responsible for validating new blocks on the Ethereum network.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/whale_alert\/status\/1811316998145458372\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sending coins<\/a> to this wallet implies that holders would rather lock the supply than engage in trading them.<\/p>\n<p>Locking a lot of coins could reduce selling pressure, and in ETH&#8217;s case, it could prevent it from declining below $3,000.<\/p>\n<h2>ETH supply continues to fall<\/h2>\n<p>However, that was not the only thing. According to Glassnode, the ETH 2.0 New Deposits have been <a href=\"https:\/\/studio.glassnode.com\/metrics?a=ETH&amp;category=ETH%202.0&amp;m=eth2.StakingDepositsCount&amp;s=1718128924&amp;u=1720720924&amp;zoom=30\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">increasing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When this metric increases, it means that holders of the altcoins are socking away at least 32 ETH in expectation of rewards.<\/p>\n<p>Coincidentally, this is happening at a time when the spot Ethereum ETF launch is approaching. In total, the total Ethereum supply locked was 40%.\u00a0 Out of this, 28% has been <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/staking-frenzy-grips-ethereum-33-9-of-eth-now-staked\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">staked<\/a> and 12% \u2014 bridged via smart contracts.<\/p>\n<p>But for the price to increase, the number of coins on exchanges has to reduce. To check if this was the situation, AMBCrypto assessed Ethereum&#8217;s exchange inflow and outflow.<\/p>\n<p>Exchange inflow tracks the number of crypto sent into exchange via external sources. Exchange outflow, on the other hand, is the number of ETH withdrawn.<\/p>\n<p>If the exchange inflow outpaces the outflow, then the price risks correction. However, a rise in the outflow <a href=\"https:\/\/app.santiment.net\/charts\/T4Gth218__sCl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gives credence<\/a> to a potential price increase.<\/p>\n<p>According to Santiment, ETH&#8217;s exchange inflow was 26,500 while the outflow was 37,500.
