The newly published report mentioned the blockchain\u2019s performance on several fronts during the last quarter. Let\u2019s have a look at how SOL did.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Solana\u2019s Q2 performance<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coin98 Analytics posted a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Coin98Analytics\/status\/1809609219131470221?t=0ItKiEY9C1UGFvc1_GXeWg&amp;s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tweet<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mentioning Solana\u2019s performance on many fronts. To begin with, the report mentioned that Solana&#8217;s fees and revenue experienced significant growth in the second quarter, generating over $26 million. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This\u00a0 was commendable as it&#8217;s a 42 fold year-on-year growth. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The total SOL trading volume reached $292 billion, nearly 7 times higher compared to the same period last year. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apart from that, Solana executed more than 15.3 billion transactions. Its daily active addresses were over 900k, which was a 499% YoY increase.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The sector where SOL\u2019s performance was extraordinary was the DeFi space. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per the report SOL\u2019s TVL increased by more than 1000% YoY. Additionally, over 98 million new NFTs were created, a 54x increase YoY. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Q2 2024, Solana\u2019s unique NFT buyers and sellers stood at 1.4 million, and 678k, respectively.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>SOL\u2019s state in Q3<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, let\u2019s have a look at Artemis\u2019 data to find out how SOL has been doing during the first week of this fresh quarter. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unlike Q2, the third quarter didn\u2019t begin on a good note as a few key stats fell. For instance, SOL\u2019s daily active addresses declined sharply last week. Nonetheless, SOL\u2019s performance in the DeFi space remained promising as its TVL continued to rise over the last week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>SOL\u2019s price is on par<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a few days of decline last week, the token\u2019s price once again gained bullish momentum. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/solana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, SOL\u2019s price increased by more than 3% in the last seven days. At the time of writing, SOL was trading at $140.57 with a market capitalization of over $65 billion, making it the 5th largest crypto. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AMBCrypto then checked Solana\u2019s daily chart to better understand whether this bull rally would sustain itself.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Read\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/solana-price-prediction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Solana\u2019s [SOL] Price Prediction<\/a>\u00a02024-25<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The technical indicator MACD displayed a slight bullish upper hand in the market.
