Some interesting patterns emerge"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em>Solana was at the strong support level of $124 at press time.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trading volume surged by 36% signaling investors&#8217; and traders\u2019 participation.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the last 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market experienced notable selling pressure, after the world\u2019s biggest digital asset, <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/bitcoin-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitcoin [BTC]<\/a> fell more than 8%. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other cryptocurrencies including <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/ethereum-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ethereum [ETH]<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/solana-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Solana [SOL]<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/binance-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Binance Coin [BNB]<\/a> have also experienced significant 24-hour losses of over 10%, 7%, and 13%, respectively, in the last 24 hours, per <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CoinMarketCap<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At press time, the majority of cryptocurrencies were showing bearish trends amid this continued selling pressure. However, Solana had started showing a bullish pattern on its daily chart.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Solana: These are some key levels<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to AMBCrypto&#8217;s analysis, SOL was currently at a strong support level of $124 at the time of writing and below the 200 EMA (Exponential Moving Average). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SOL&#8217;s daily chart showed the formation of two bullish price action patterns: a bullish double-bottom pattern and a bullish divergence in the oversold area of the Relative Strength Index (RSI).<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_404651\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-404651\" style=\"width: 1824px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-tv.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-404651\" src=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-tv.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1824\" height=\"799\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-tv.png 1824w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-tv-300x131.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-tv-1024x449.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-tv-768x336.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-tv-1536x673.png 1536w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-tv-1200x526.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1824px) 100vw, 1824px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-404651\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, this wasn\u2019t the first time that SOL\u2019s daily chart had shown this pattern. In May 2024, a similar bullish pattern occurred at the same level near $124. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There was thus a high possibility that SOL may copy the move that it made in May 2024. If history repeats itself, we could potentially witness a massive price surge of over 22%, reaching the $160 level in the coming days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite this bullish outlook, the 24-hour Open Interest (OI) has dropped by 7% showing lower investors\u2019 and traders&#8217; interest in this challenging market, according to Coinglass.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_404650\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-404650\" style=\"width: 1717px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-coinglass.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-404650\" src=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-coinglass.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1717\" height=\"606\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-coinglass.png 1717w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-coinglass-300x106.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-coinglass-1024x361.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-coinglass-768x271.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-coinglass-1536x542.png 1536w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/sol-coinglass-1200x424.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1717px) 100vw, 1717px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-404650\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Coinglass<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This drop in OI may be attributed to the liquidation of $25.5 million worth of traders&#8217; positions, with SOL being the third-highest asset to experience this significant liquidation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whereas, the highest liquidation occurred in Bitcoin and Ethereum.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Price-performance analysis<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As of this writing, SOL was trading near $126, and in the last 24 hours, it experienced a 7% price drop. The trading volume experienced a notable surge of 36% signaling investors&#8217; and traders\u2019 participation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If we look at the performance of SOL over a longer period, in the last seven days it lost more than 11% of its value. Whereas, in the last 30 days, SOL has lost nearly 26% of its gain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Besides SOL, Solana-based altcoins such as <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/render-token-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Render [RNDR]<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/bonk-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bonk [BONK]<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/pyth-network-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pyth Network [PYTH]<\/a> also witnessed similar price drops.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Is your portfolio green?
