In fact, the king of altcoins was outshining <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/bitcoin-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitcoin [BTC]<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on a key front, which hinted at a bull rally in the coming days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Ethereum beats Bitcoin<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/ethereum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">data<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> revealed that ETH bulls stepped up their game over the last seven days as the token\u2019s price increased. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The token\u2019s daily chart also remained green as it moved up marginally. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the time of writing, ETH was trading at $3,575.26 with a market capitalization of over $437 billion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While that happened, Ki Young Ju, a popular crypto analyst, recently posted a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ki_young_ju\/status\/1803533050975793209?t=io3RskwB__PHluDep8XjDA&amp;s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tweet<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> pointing out an interesting development. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per the tweet, ETH\u2019s MVRV ratio was rising, suggesting that ETH&#8217;s market was heating up relative to its on-chain fundamentals. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">n fact, ETH managed to outperform Bitcoin in terms of MVRV ratio growth rate. The tweet also mentioned that, given the current ETF situation, this might be an ETH-only season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It was also interesting to note that historically, when ETH surges, other alts tend to follow.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Is ETH ready for a bull rally?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since the aforementioned dataset suggested that the chances of ETH showcasing a bullish performance were high, AMBCrypto planned to check its on-chain metrics. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per our analysis of CryptoQuant\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoquant.com\/asset\/eth\/summary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">data<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ETH\u2019s net deposit on exchanges was high compared to the last seven days\u2019 average, meaning that selling pressure was high. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, its Coinbase premium was red, indicating that selling sentiment was dominant among US investors. A rise in liquidation often results in short-term price corrections.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A successful breakout above that level might allow ETH to reach $3.8k.
