This increase is significant as it approaches levels last seen before the FTX crash. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, Bitcoin has now entered the conversation around Total Value Locked (TVL), now ranking among the top 10 assets by TVL.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Bitcoin holders increase holdings<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to data from <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/intotheblock\/status\/1791846503062946046?s=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IntoTheBlock<\/a>, there has been a notable increase in the volume of BTC held by certain <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/decoding-bitcoins-recent-price-surge-this-group-leads-the-way\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitcoin<\/a> wallets. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Specifically, the volume of BTC held by wallets containing 1,000 or more BTC has surged by 250,000. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This increase notably occurred following the approval of the spot ETF around January.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_393195\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-393195\" style=\"width: 2560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Bitcoin-BTC-10.10.49-19-May-2024.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-393195\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Bitcoin-BTC-10.10.49-19-May-2024.png\" alt=\"Bitcoin supply distribution\" width=\"2560\" height=\"867\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Bitcoin-BTC-10.10.49-19-May-2024.png 2560w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Bitcoin-BTC-10.10.49-19-May-2024-300x102.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Bitcoin-BTC-10.10.49-19-May-2024-1024x347.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Bitcoin-BTC-10.10.49-19-May-2024-768x260.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Bitcoin-BTC-10.10.49-19-May-2024-1536x520.png 1536w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Bitcoin-BTC-10.10.49-19-May-2024-2048x693.png 2048w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Bitcoin-BTC-10.10.49-19-May-2024-1200x406.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2560px) 100vw, 2560px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-393195\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Santiment<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analysis of the supply distribution revealed that the number of addresses in this range rose from approximately 1,888 in January to over 2,049 by February. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite subsequent declines, as of the current writing, it was around 2,019. Moreover, with the ongoing growth of these wallets, they are steadily approaching their pre-<a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/ftxs-massive-payout-plan-can-impact-bitcoins-price-this-way\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FTX<\/a> crash levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analysis of the chart showed that the number of addresses experienced a significant decline after the FTX crash in November, along with a decrease in volume within these addresses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> However, with the positive trends in BTC&#8217;s price and increased institutional participation, volume has been recovered. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dditionally, recent improvements have been observed in the BTC Total Value Locked (TVL).<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Bitcoin features in top TVL ranking<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to data from <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/defillama\/status\/1791892511310455281?s=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DefiLlama<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/bitcoin-fees-hit-3-month-low-a-12m-drop-explained\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitcoin<\/a> ranked ninth in terms of Total Value Locked (TVL) at the time of this writing. BTC&#8217;s TVL stood at $1.15 billion, surpassing <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/avalanche-ventures-into-memecoins-with-kimbo-coq-and-more\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Avalanche [AVAX]<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The trend in TVL showed an uptick around February, reaching as high as $1.3 billion in April before experiencing some subsequent declines, leading to the current volume.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What&#8217;s notable about this TVL volume is that Bitcoin is the only L1 blockchain on the ranking that originally lacked smart contract functionality. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, recent developments in the past few years have made it possible to implement smart contracts, enabling value to be locked on the network.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Bitcoin maintains its bull trend<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analysis of the <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/btc-etfs-grayscale-gbtc-inflows-near-1b-in-1-week-analysts-say\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitcoin<\/a> price trend on a daily time frame chart revealed that it was trading at around $67,100.
