While the token crossed the psychological resistance, it also consolidated inside a bull pattern. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A breakout above the pattern could allow ETH to reach new highs in the coming weeks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Ethereum price prediction\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last week was not in investors\u2019 best interest as the king of altcoins\u2019 price plummeted to $2.8k. However, the token gained bullish momentum on the 1st of May as its price moved up steadily.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/ethereum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ETH\u2019s price increased by over 1.55% in the last 24 hours. At press time, it was trading at $3,144.11 with a market capitalization of over $377 billion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the meantime, World of Charts, a popular crypto analyst, recently posted a tweet highlighting a falling edge pattern on ETH\u2019s chart. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The token started to consolidate inside the pattern since the beginning of March. As per the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WorldOfCharts1\/status\/1787111325874741384?t=2Cd72b61_lbBzx3QDfEQBQ&amp;s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tweet<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the correction phase for ETH was over as it was headed towards the upper trendline of the falling wedge. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A successful breakout from the falling wedge pattern could lead to a 45%-50% price rise in the coming weeks. Predicting Ethereum\u2019s price, it might as well surpass its March high if a bull rally happens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Is Ethereum ready for a rally?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AMBCrypto then analyzed Ethereum\u2019s on-chain metrics to see whether they supported the possibility of a breakout. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, ETH\u2019s Network To Value (NVT) ratio registered a downtick after a sharp increase. For instance, ETH\u2019s MVRV ratio improved over the last week.
