{"id":388666,"date":"2024-05-01T21:30:57","date_gmt":"2024-05-01T16:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/?p=388666"},"modified":"2024-06-03T17:49:24","modified_gmt":"2024-06-03T12:19:24","slug":"60-cardano-ada-83-arb-holders-lose-money-breaking-down-why","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/60-cardano-ada-83-arb-holders-lose-money-breaking-down-why\/","title":{"rendered":"60% Cardano [ADA], 83% ARB holders lose money &#8211; Breaking down why"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ADA\u2019s price may breach support and chase new lows.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ARB may witness further decline as the demand for the altcoin continues to drop.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/cardano-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cardano [ADA]<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/arbitrum-price-prediction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arbitrum [ARB]<\/a> are the two leading Layer 1 (L1) and Layer 2 (L2) assets with the highest count of holders in losses, IntoTheBlock noted in a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/intotheblock\/status\/1785332101174235606\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">post<\/a> on X (formerly Twitter).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the on-chain data provider, 60% of ADA holders are at a loss. For ARB, 83.43% of its holders do so at a loss.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The values of both assets have declined significantly in the last month. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CoinMarketCap\u2019s<\/a> data, ADA\u2019s price has cratered by 30% in the last 30 days, while ARB has shed 35% of its value during that period.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>More downsides in the interim for ADA<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An assessment of ADA\u2019s price movements on a 3-day chart revealed the likelihood of a further decline in its value.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Readings from the chart showed that the coin\u2019s price fell below its 20-day and 50-day moving averages (MAs) at the beginning of April.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When an asset\u2019s price falls below these MAs, it often indicates a shift from bullish momentum to bearish. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If accompanied by low demand for that asset, it offers a confirmation that the market is in a downtrend, and the asset\u2019s price may continue to fall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A look at ADA\u2019s Relative Strength Indicator (RSI) and Money Flow Index (MFI) indicators confirmed the decline in ADA\u2019s demand by market participants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> As of this writing, ADA\u2019s RSI was 35.60, while its MFI was 32.13.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The values of these indicators showed selling activity slightly outpaced coin accumulation among ADA traders.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, ADA\u2019s double-digit price drop in the last month has forced it to trade at its support level of $0.44 at press time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although a descending triangle has been formed, and bullish breakouts are typically expected, there is a high chance that the bearish outlook will push its price downward to $0.26.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, if the bulls can regain control, the coin might break out in an uptrend to exchange hands at $0.88.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_388672\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-388672\" style=\"width: 2368px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ADAUSDT_2024-05-01_07-25-24.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-388672\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ADAUSDT_2024-05-01_07-25-24.png\" alt=\"ADA 3D TradingView\" width=\"2368\" height=\"1324\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ADAUSDT_2024-05-01_07-25-24.png 2368w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ADAUSDT_2024-05-01_07-25-24-300x168.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ADAUSDT_2024-05-01_07-25-24-1024x573.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ADAUSDT_2024-05-01_07-25-24-768x429.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ADAUSDT_2024-05-01_07-25-24-1536x859.png 1536w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ADAUSDT_2024-05-01_07-25-24-2048x1145.png 2048w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ADAUSDT_2024-05-01_07-25-24-1200x671.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2368px) 100vw, 2368px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-388672\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: ADA\/USDT on TradingView<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h4><b>ARB has little to offer<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At press time, ARB traded at $1.03. Its movements on a 1-day chart showed that it has also witnessed a significant decrease in demand.
