This is because they target this phase for profit-taking after quietly accumulating during the bear market.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>LTH selling to increase in the days to come?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>An on-chain analyst and verified author at <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/cryptoquant_com\/status\/1771126081690427544?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CryptoQuant<\/a> drew market&#8217;s attention towards a likelihood of LTH increasing their deposits to exchanges in the days ahead, fueling speculation and anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>The forecast was linked to the sharp drop in inflows to Blackrock&#8217;s IBIT spot ETF, the second-largest in terms of overall holdings, and the one which led the wave of inflows over the past two months.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, daily inflows into the $15 billion-strong Bitcoin investment fund have been on a downhill after peaking earlier in the month, according to AMBCrypto&#8217;s analysis of <a href=\"https:\/\/sosovalue.xyz\/assets\/etf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SoSo Value<\/a> data.<\/p>\n<p>On the 22nd of March, just about $18.89 million in Bitcoins was purchased, compared to nearly $45 million on the 12th of March.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_378777\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-378777\" style=\"width: 1139px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/blackrock-spot-inflows.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-378777 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/blackrock-spot-inflows.jpg\" alt=\"Blackrock spot ETF inflows\" width=\"1139\" height=\"498\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/blackrock-spot-inflows.jpg 1139w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/blackrock-spot-inflows-300x131.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/blackrock-spot-inflows-1024x448.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/blackrock-spot-inflows-768x336.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1139px) 100vw, 1139px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-378777\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: SoSo Value<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Explaining the scenario, the researcher stated that most of the transactions between the LTH and BlackRock have happened over-the-counter (OTC) in the last two months.<\/p>\n<p>This meant that despite a sharp drop in their holdings, LTH didn&#8217;t have to deposit their coins to exchanges, unlike the previous bull cycles.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_378792\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-378792\" style=\"width: 841px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/bitcoin-exchange-inflows.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-378792 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/bitcoin-exchange-inflows.jpg\" alt=\"Bitcoin exchange inflows\" width=\"841\" height=\"531\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/bitcoin-exchange-inflows.jpg 841w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/bitcoin-exchange-inflows-300x189.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/bitcoin-exchange-inflows-768x485.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 841px) 100vw, 841px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-378792\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Glassnode<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>However, decreasing inflows to BlackRock suggested that demand was weakening. The researcher noted,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;If this is just temporary, then there may not be any issues. However, if it persists, there is a possibility that long-term holders may start depositing Bitcoin into exchanges in the same way as before. If that happens, the likelihood of price dumping increases.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Read <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/bitcoin-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">BTC&#8217;s Price Prediction<\/a>\u00a02024-25<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>LTH cohort in profit<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Bitcoin&#8217;s sharp descent from the $73k peak clocked earlier in the month impacted the network&#8217;s overall profitability.
