However, last week&#8217;s spike failed to exert any upward pressure on AVAX.<\/p>\n<p>The ninth-largest crypto was down 8.46% over the last week as of this writing, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/avalanche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CoinMarketCap<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>Derivatives market goes bearish in AVAX<\/h4>\n<p>AVAX&#8217;s price decline impacted speculative interest for the token.
