{"id":371621,"date":"2024-02-23T04:00:20","date_gmt":"2024-02-22T22:30:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/?p=371621"},"modified":"2024-02-22T17:10:30","modified_gmt":"2024-02-22T11:40:30","slug":"arbitrum-falls-below-2-how-long-till-arb-regains-its-footing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/arbitrum-falls-below-2-how-long-till-arb-regains-its-footing\/","title":{"rendered":"Arbitrum falls below $2: How long till ARB regains its footing?"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Close to one million ARB has been sold by a single entity in the last 24 hours.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fund inflow has reduced in the past few days.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/arbitrum-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arbitrum [ARB]<\/a> has recently experienced a decline in its price, following a period during which it attempted to establish a new price level. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fall can be attributed in part to the heightened selling pressure it has encountered over the past few days.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Arbitrum drops below $2<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AMBCrypto&#8217;s examination of the <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/arbitrum-rallies-past-ethereum-in-this-area-what-now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arbitrum<\/a> price on a daily timeframe chart showed a notable decline in the past few days. This was particularly significant, given the prior attempts to initiate an upward trend.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Specifically, between the 20th and the 21st of February, ARB&#8217;s price experienced an 8.78% decrease, causing it to drop from the $2 range. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the time of this writing, there has been a marginal 0.2% increase, and ARB was trading at about $1.88.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_371638\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-371638\" style=\"width: 1793px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ARBUSD_2024-02-22_09-51-59.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-371638\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ARBUSD_2024-02-22_09-51-59.png\" alt=\"Arbitrum price trend\" width=\"1793\" height=\"785\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ARBUSD_2024-02-22_09-51-59.png 1793w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ARBUSD_2024-02-22_09-51-59-300x131.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ARBUSD_2024-02-22_09-51-59-1024x448.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ARBUSD_2024-02-22_09-51-59-768x336.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ARBUSD_2024-02-22_09-51-59-1536x672.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1793px) 100vw, 1793px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-371638\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Trading View<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, the chart&#8217;s volume analysis showed that during the two days of decline, selling volume dominated the overall volume trend. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, the short moving average (yellow line), previously acting as support, has now transitioned to resistance around $1.9 and $2. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Relative Strength Index (RSI) also showed that ARB was in a bear trend. At the time of this writing, the RSI was below the neutral line, suggesting a bearish trend, albeit a relatively weak one.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Sell-offs contribute to price decline<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Per <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/spotonchain\/status\/1760491468026950083?t=UG4YvPdncxnmHM4239drTw&amp;s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spot on Chain<\/a>, the recent decline in <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/arbitrum-flips-optimism-on-these-fronts-what-about-arb-prices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arbitrum&#8217;s<\/a> price may be linked to a significant sell-off by Convex Finance. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, Convex sold 901,392 ARB in the last 24 hours, worth $1.63 million, with a selling price of around $1.8 per ARB token.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the uninitiated, when Convex received ARB in an airdrop back in April 2023, it was worth around $1.2 million.
