meow (@weremeow) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/weremeow\/status\/1746923653055586716?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 15, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h4><b>Any win for Solana?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since the WEN token airdrop on the 26th of January, there has been a surge in daily trading volume on the Solana network, data from <a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/chain\/Solana?volume=false&amp;currency=USD&amp;tvl=false&amp;inflows=false&amp;aggregators=false&amp;fees=false&amp;revenue=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DefiLlama<\/a> revealed. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Within two days, daily trading volume on the Layer 1 (L1) blockchain increased by 8%.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As eligible users scampered to claim their WEN tokens on the day of the airdrop, total transaction fees on the Solana network recorded a single-day rally of 32%. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On that day, transaction fees totaled $535,000, the chain\u2019s highest since the 27th of December 2023. However,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0since the high recorded three days ago, total transaction fees have dropped by 5%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Further, the chain\u2019s daily revenue followed a similar trend as it rallied to a one-month high of $288,000 when the WEN airdrop was completed.
