{"id":361975,"date":"2024-01-04T09:00:06","date_gmt":"2024-01-04T03:30:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/?p=361975"},"modified":"2024-01-03T19:18:54","modified_gmt":"2024-01-03T13:48:54","slug":"arbitrums-dominance-soars-as-these-metrics-break-barriers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/arbitrums-dominance-soars-as-these-metrics-break-barriers\/","title":{"rendered":"Arbitrum&#8217;s dominance soars as these metrics break barriers"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Arbitrum TVL has crossed $10 billion.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ARB volume has increased to its highest in over five months.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arbitrum [ARB] has been a dominant force in the Layer 2 (L2) space since its launch, and recent reports indicate that its dominance has further strengthened. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additional key metrics consistently highlight Arbitrum as one of the top-performing assets in the current year.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Arbitrum hits all-time high TVL<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/l2beat.com\/scaling\/summary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">L2 Beats<\/a> data showed a recent surge in <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/arbitrum-of-inscriptions-frenzy-and-power-outages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arbitrum&#8217;s<\/a> Total Value Locked (TVL). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analysis of the data indicated that the current TVL represents an all-time high for both the Arbitrum network and the broader category of Layer 2 solutions. The TVL was around $10.4 billion as of this writing, marking a notable 16% increase. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, the collective TVL across various networks was over $21 billion, attributed to the rise in Arbitrum&#8217;s TVL and that of other networks. With its current TVL, Arbitrum commands a significant 49% of the market share.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Arbitrum volume nears $1 billion mark<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another encouraging metric exhibiting positive momentum is the <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/optimism-arbitrum-and-how-2023-was-the-year-of-the-l2s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arbitrum<\/a> volume, as <a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/chain\/Arbitrum?volume=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DefiLlama<\/a> reported. The network&#8217;s trading volume has surged beyond $400 million and, as of this writing, was over $900 million, approaching the $1 billion mark. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The chart showed a previous instance of reaching this volume range on 22nd December, when it surpassed $1 billion. Over the past nine months, the volume has only breached the $1 billion mark twice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The last sustained trend within this range dates back to around April 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Interest in ARB increases<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arbitrum has witnessed a notable rise in trading volume, with a particularly significant surge over the last three days.
