These whales have been moving their Ethereum [ETH] holdings out of storage and opening long positions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Read <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/ethereum-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ethereum&#8217;s [ETH] Price prediction<\/a> 2023-24<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How has this influenced the overall trend of the king of altcoins?<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Ethereum whales gulp up more Ethereum<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/lookonchain\/status\/1716447506324930635?t=XQm_fdaVw_SWCsp8mBeazg&amp;s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lookonchain<\/a> and data from Etherescan, six <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/as-ethereum-moves-closer-to-2k-this-metric-sees-8-month-high\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ethereum<\/a> whales have amassed a total of more than 42,000 ETH.\u00a0 This equated to approximately $71 million in value and has been accumulated over the past three days. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to Etherescan&#8217;s data, one of these whales obtained more than 20,000 ETH. It acquired 17,000 ETH through a decentralized exchange (DEX) and withdrew an additional 3,000 ETH from a centralized exchange.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, another whale withdrew over 10,000 ETH from Binance [BNB], subsequently depositing these funds and taking a long position on the asset within several DeFi platforms. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These strategic moves made by these whales coincide with the positive uptrend in the price of ETH that has been observed over the last couple of days.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Ethereum sees a continued uptrend\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/ethereum-hits-100-mln-addresses-even-as-eth-struggles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ethereum&#8217;s<\/a> recent price surge has been in progress for nearly seven consecutive days, bringing good news to its investors. At the time of writing, it was trading at approximately $1,800, reflecting a price increase of over 3%. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This uptick built upon the already impressive 6% uptrend observed on 24 October. This suggested a bullish trend, though it may also hint at the potential for a price correction in the near future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Additionally, the continued accumulation of ETH by the whales in the market may be viewed as a sign of a sustained upward trajectory.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Funding rates reflect whales&#8217; optimism<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coinciding with the rise in Ethereum&#8217;s price and the accumulation by whales, the Funding Rate for <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/ethereum-flips-1619-to-support-to-1700-next\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ETH<\/a> has surged in a positive direction.
