Additionally, the Coinglass report noted that the spike had wiped out over $1 billion in Open Interest.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>The spike that led to the Bitcoin liquidations<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/bitcoin-spikes-10-in-7-days-but-bears-loom-large\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitcoin<\/a> had been on an upward trajectory, reaching double-digit gains on 24 October, as indicated by its daily timeframe chart.
