Notably, the charts of top coins like<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitcoin [BTC]<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ethereum [ETH]<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were painted green.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Read<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/ethereum-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ethereum\u2019s [ETH] Price Prediction<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2023-24<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interestingly, while this happened, the global altcoin market cap entered a bullish pattern.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If history is to repeat itself, then not only Ethereum, but other altcoin investors could also expect their values to pump. Therefore, taking a closer look at other top altcoins provided a better understanding of what might happen.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Ethereum is leading the altcoin pack\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A look at altcoin\u2019s cumulative market cap revealed a unique development. Since 2016, there have been several instances of the altcoin market cap entering a falling wedge pattern. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whenever such episodes happened, they were followed by a promising bull rally. In fact, the crypto market had already turned bullish. As per<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/ethereum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ETH, the king of altcoins, was already up by over 12% over the last seven days. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the time of writing, it was trading at $1,693.13 with a market cap of over $203,521,509,552. It was surprising to note that despite the recent uptick, ETH\u2019s social engagement dropped last week. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not only that, but LunarCrush\u2019s data revealed that bullish sentiment around ETH had also plummeted by 41%, which looked concerning. Nonetheless, if metrics are to be believed,<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/what-ethereums-declining-tvl-means-for-you\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ETH<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s bull rally might continue further. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This seemed to be the case as its exchange reserve was dropping, meaning that it was not under selling pressure. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Investors from the US and Korea were buying the token, which was evident from ETH&#8217;s<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoquant.com\/asset\/eth\/summary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">green<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Korea Premium and Coinbase Premium. In fact, derivatives investors were also considering buying<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/ethereum-flips-1619-to-support-to-1700-next\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ETH<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as its Funding Rate was green. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus, investors were willing to buy ETH at a higher price, increasing the chances of a continued uptrend. As per CoinMarketCap, while BNB\u2019s price rallied by over 4% last week, XRP\u2019s value managed to go up by over 6% during the same period. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At press time, BNB and XRP were trading at $221.54 and $0.5229, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Is an altcoin bull rally inevitable?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BNB\u2019s market indicators were also looking optimistic, suggesting a further hike in its price over the coming days. For example, the MACD displayed a clear bullish upper hand in the market. This could potentially put an end to its bull run.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/is-ripples-xrpl-superior-to-bitcoins-lightning-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">XRP<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) registered a sharp downtick of late. The RSI took a sideways path, which could decrease XRP\u2019s growth rate in the days to follow.
