For instance, the most notable development that happened last week was related to Polygon 2.0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/TodayInPolygon\/status\/1710279328351588843?t=V8lNHWecwwXORsoCs_WeGQ&#038;s=19<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The blockchain\u2019s much-awaited Polygon 2.0\u2019s POL contracts recently went live on its testnet.<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/as-polygon-2-0-goes-live-on-testnet-heres-how-matic-responded\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">POL<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> contracts have been deployed on the Goerli testnet, and two proposals setting forth potential changes to the native token burning mechanism necessary for future upgrades went live as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Today, as a result of community consultations, POL contracts will be live on Goerli testnet.<\/p>\n<p>A major step towards bringing Polygon 2.0 to life.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the community\u2019s feedback during the PIP governance process, PIP-24: Change EIP-1559 Policy &amp; PIP-25: Adjust POL Total Supply,\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/li8OF0o3jC\">pic.twitter.com\/li8OF0o3jC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Clawin Clawenberg\ud83e\udd9e (@DablClaw) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DablClaw\/status\/1709534316320227772?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 4, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apart from that, another major development was Polygon\u2019s partnership with Google Cloud. Google announced that it has become a validator for the Polygon blockchain. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apart from that, the blockchain\u2019s rollup, zkEVM, also reached new highs as its total transactions exceeded 6 million. The rollup&#8217;s unique addresses also exceeded the 450k mark last week.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>How is MATIC faring?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The last week was also profitable for<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/polygons-aa-users-rise-all-you-need-to-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MATIC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as the token registered gains. The token\u2019s price went up by more than 4% over the last seven days. However, things took a U-turn in the last 24 hours as its price went down. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/polygon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, MATIC\u2019s price dropped by over 2% yesterday. At the time of writing, it was trading at $0.5634 with a market capitalization of over $5.2 billion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A look at the token\u2019s metrics revealed what went wrong over the last few days. It was surprising to note that despite the recent price drop, the token\u2019s MVRV ratio was still relatively up last week. A look at the token&#8217;s daily chart showed that its Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) registered a steep decline as it went way under the neutral mark. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its Relative Strength Index (RSI) also registered a slight downtick as it also went near the neutral mark.
