Previously, on 7 October, XRP\u2019s active addresses were as low as 13,100. So, the increase means that an additional 10,000+ users decided to interact with the blockchain.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How much are <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1,10,100 XRPs worth today<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">?<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Like the 24-hour active addresses, Ripple\u2019s development activity rose to 0.342. In fact, the development activity has been rising since 1 October. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the crypto ecosystem, a developer\u2019s time is an expensive resource. Therefore, a rise in this metric <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/app.santiment.net\/charts\/II1LaSH9__sCl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">suggests<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that a project is serious about shipping new features or addressing existing issues. On 6 October, RippleX, the developer arm of the Ripple network and the XRP Ledger (XRPL), confirmed that the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/what-ripples-latest-updates-to-the-xprl-mainnet-entails\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">XLS-30 AMM <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">performance testing has been completed.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">1\/ Extensive performance testing of the XLS-30 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/AMM?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#AMM<\/a> has now been completed.<\/p>\n<p>XLS-30 is a proposed amendment as part of the rippled 1.12.0 upgrade. If adopted, it will bring automated swap, trading, and liquidity provisioning capabilities to the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/XRPLedger?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#XRPLedger<\/a>.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Cz1w76uc8c\">https:\/\/t.co\/Cz1w76uc8c<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; RippleX (@RippleXDev) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RippleXDev\/status\/1710388441966629285?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 6, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">XLS-30&#8217;s journey began around July with the blockchain proposing to add extra features to the XRP Ledger. As a result of the proposition, the developers finally agreed to build the XLS-30 to enable liquidity provision, trading, and automated swap on the XRPL. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For some, this means that the XRPL was transitioning into becoming a full-fledged DeFi protocol.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After smart contracts audit firm Certik found no major issues and resolved 35 minor challenges with the XLS-30, RippleX decided that it was time for performance testing. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RippleX mentioned that,<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTo complement a secure codebase, the RippleX team has conducted ongoing performance testing of the core XRP Ledger for over a year. A rigorous methodology has been employed to assess the ledger\u2019s and consensus\u2019s performance and latency to ensure the health of XRPL MainNet.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the development arm concluded that the XRPL was equipped to integrate the XLS-30, it also encouraged developers to review the testing report. This was because it is necessary to ensure that the project is in great condition before final deployment.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Expect a change in XRP volume?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, the volume of XRP on Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) was down to 116 at the time of writing.
