The latest report pointed out a drop in the numbers, which meant that investors were selling their assets.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Read<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/bitcoin-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitcoin\u2019s [BTC] Price Prediction<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2023-24<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, the possibility of investors selling BTC and ETH seemed unlikely to happen, especially at a time when the market gained bullish momentum. Therefore, taking a closer look at both the cryptos provided a better understanding of what was actually going on in the crypto market.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Decoding KuCoin\u2019s charts<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per the latest<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kucoin.com\/zh-hant\/proof-of-reserves\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">data<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from KuCoin, BTC&#8217;s assets were 17,617.5 at press time, a decrease of 4%. ETH also dropped by more than 3%. Additionally, users\u2019 Tether [USDT] assets on KuCoin plummeted by 4% compared to the last report. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This suggested that investors were actually selling their holdings. However, upon closer inspection, it was clear that this was the case limited to KuCoin. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably,<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/bitcoin-holders-show-renewed-confidence-in-the-king-coin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BTC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s Supply on Exchanges has dropped over the last month. Unlike<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/will-bitcoin-surprise-investors-in-q4-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BTC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ETH\u2019s Supply on Exchanges did register an increase last month. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, its Supply outside of Exchanges also rose, which was intriguing to watch. Also, unlike BTC, ETH&#8217;s Total Amount of Holders rose last month. Bitcoin and Ethereum were no exception. On one hand, BTC\u2019s price breached the $28,000 mark as its price surged by more than 7% last week. On the other hand,<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/will-ethereum-and-bnb-kickstart-q4s-altcoin-bull-rally\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ETH<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s price rose by more than 9% last week. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the time of writing, BTC was<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">trading<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at $28,074.86 with a market capitalization of over $547 billion, while ETH was valued at $1,723.39 with a market cap of $207 billion. A look at BTC\u2019s metrics sheds light on whether the crypto can maintain its surge in the days to follow. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoquant.com\/asset\/btc\/summary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CryptoQuant<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, BTC\u2019s exchange reserve was declining, meaning that the coin was not under selling pressure. For example, ETH\u2019s Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) registered a downtick after a steep hike. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its Relative Strength Index (RSI) also went down slightly, which increased the chances of a southward price movement in the days to follow.
