With the absence of significant buying pressure and the presence of elevated selling pressure, BTC stood at $25,142 at the time of writing. As per data from <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\/\">CoinMarketCap<\/a>, the king of cryptocurrency slipped by almost 2.40% in the last seven days and by 2.80% in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Is your portfolio green?\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/calculator\/bitcoin-profit-calculator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Check out the Bitcoin Profit Calculator<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Despite the disheartening performance, BTC holders did have something to rejoice about. As per data shared by IntoTheBlock, the price plummet didn&#8217;t have an impact on the number of Bitcoin transactions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Bitcoin transactions aren&#8217;t slowing down. Despite a significant decrease in price over the past few months, Bitcoin is processing more transactions on average than when price was at $30k in July<br \/>\n?<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/n7lvDvAgct\">https:\/\/t.co\/n7lvDvAgct<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/b0ctlNqrdV\">pic.twitter.com\/b0ctlNqrdV<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 IntoTheBlock (@intotheblock) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/intotheblock\/status\/1701246977348882632?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 11, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>As per the update posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), Bitcoin was processing more transactions on average than in July 2023. Recall that this was the time when the price of BTC touched the $30k mark.<\/p>\n<h4>Is there really cause for celebration?<\/h4>\n<p>While the Bitcoin network processing higher transactions was surely news to celebrate, the impact of the news wasn&#8217;t seen on BTC. This was because, at the time of writing, BTC wasn&#8217;t in a pleasant state. The Relative Strength Index (RSI), at press time, stood at 32.59. However, its position clearly indicated a further move south.<\/p>\n<p>A move like this indicated the grave selling pressure that surrounded BTC. Furthermore, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), although showed the MACD line above the signal line, didn&#8217;t indicate a bullish outcome. Data from the on-chain intelligence platform Santiment indicated that the total amount of BTC holders witnessed a drop. This number stood at 49.6 million at the time of writing.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Read\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/bitcoin-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Bitcoin\u2019s [BTC] Price Prediction<\/a>\u00a02023-2024<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Furthermore, BTC&#8217;s weighted sentiment witnessed a significant drop as is evident from the chart placed below. An interesting development was seen in BTC&#8217;s volume. Whales holding 100-1000 BTC were seen selling their holdings as can be seen from the chart given below.
