The market was in a \u201cfear\u201d phase at press time, many expected a change in trend over the coming days. But that might not be the case with APT, considering its approaching token unlock.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Read<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/aptos-price-prediction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aptos\u2019s [APT] Price Prediction<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2023-24<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Aptos\u2019 price declines<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap\u2019s<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/aptos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">data<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> revealed that APT\u2019s price had declined by more than 1.5% in the last 24 hours. At the time of writing, it was trading at $5.51, with a market capitalization of over $1.2 billion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The declining price trend might continue as APT&#8217;s token unlock neared, scheduled on 12 September. An increase in circulating supply generally causes a dip in demand, which in turn pushes an asset&#8217;s price down further. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As per<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/token.unlocks.app\/aptos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Token Unlocks<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the unlock will inject 4.54 million APT, worth over $25 million. At press time, APT had 229,653,024 tokens circulating in the market. For instance, negative sentiment around<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/aptos-stalls-at-5-6-level-will-sellers-benefit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">APT<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> spiked quite a few times last week. Its one-week price volatility also plummeted. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another reason for concern was Aptos\u2019 Open Interest, which rose as its price dropped. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) took a sideways path over the last few days.
