During that period, this cohort of investors bought 14 million LINK tokens worth over $100 million, on-chain data from Santiment showed.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Chainlink?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Chainlink<\/a> whales have bought around 14 million <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24LINK&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$LINK<\/a> over the past week, worth over $100 million! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/WOexHbNCRA\">pic.twitter.com\/WOexHbNCRA<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Ali Charts (@alicharts) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/alicharts\/status\/1688654874248921088?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 7, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Realistic or not,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/calculator\/marketcap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">here\u2019s LINK\u2019s market cap in BTC\u2019s terms<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The surge in LINK accumulation amongst major holders could be attributable to Chainlink\u2019s recently launched <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/will-chainlinks-new-updates-turn-the-spotlight-back-on-link\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP)<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the CCIP <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.chain.link\/ccip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">documentation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the product was launched to address the connectivity challenge between blockchain networks and has already been deployed on Avalanche [AVAX], Ethereum [ETH], Optimism [OP], and Polygon [MATIC] networks. It has also been adopted by leading decentralized finance (DeFi) projects Aave and Synthetix.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>LINK whales have a plan<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At press time, the altcoin exchanged hands at $7.36. Increased attention from the whales in the last month has caused its price to grow by double digits during that period. Per <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/chainlink\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, LINK\u2019s price has rallied by 18% in the last 30 days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apart from the CCIP launch, the profitable nature of LINK transactions might be why whales have become increasingly interested in the crypto asset. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assessed on a 30-day moving average, the ratio of LINK\u2019s daily on-chain transaction volume in profit to loss was 1.5 at press time. At press time, the token\u2019s MFI was positioned below the center line and inched closer to the oversold region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although above the 50-neutral line, the RSI remained flat at 52.52. The Chaikin Money Flow, however, offered some respite.
