Notably, macro headwinds like shrinking global liquidity and the recent Fitch Ratings\u2019 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fitchratings.com\/research\/sovereigns\/fitch-downgrades-united-states-long-term-ratings-to-aa-from-aaa-outlook-stable-01-08-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">US credit downgrade<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have worried some investors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is your portfolio green? Check out the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/calculator\/aave-profit-calculator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AAVE Profit Calculator<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the same period, AAVE dropped from $88 to around $63 since mid-July, a &gt;25% loss. Consequently<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitcoin [BTC]<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> recorded losses, too. The previous D1 bullish OB of $66.5 &#8211; $71 (cyan) aligned with support in March\/April\/ May of $68.95 but was flipped to a bearish breaker. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The move reinforces the sellers\u2019 edge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But the extended drop steadied and consolidated above another bullish OB of $57 &#8211; $62 (white). It shows AAVE consolidated losses above the immediate next support level. But a solid corrective rebound was still unlikely, according to price chart indicators.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For example, Global Net Liquidity, which tracks the availability of liquid assets in the global finance system, spiked in the first half of July and tanked later. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The indicator is yet to improve at press time and could affect capital injections into AAVE, as confirmed by the below-average Chaikin Money Flow (CMF).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, the Relative Strength Index recorded a slight improvement but remained in the lower range, further reinforcing sellers\u2019 edge around the weekend.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, AAVE could extend its range trading between the bearish breaker ($66.5 &#8211; $71), cyan, and the next support zone ($57 &#8211; $62), white. Investors can seek gains by targeting range extremes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Sellers&#8217; little edge<\/h4>\n<figure id=\"attachment_332754\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-332754\" style=\"width: 1651px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/AAVE-metrics.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-332754 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/AAVE-metrics.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1651\" height=\"526\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/AAVE-metrics.png 1651w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/AAVE-metrics-300x96.png 300w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/AAVE-metrics-1024x326.png 1024w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/AAVE-metrics-768x245.png 768w, https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/AAVE-metrics-1536x489.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1651px) 100vw, 1651px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-332754\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Cryptometer<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Based on AAVE metrics from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cryptometer.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cryptometer<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, sellers had little vantage ahead of the US Jobs report and weekend. Notably, 24-hour sell volume, as of the time of writing, was dominant at &gt;51.2%, worth $6.5 million.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How much are <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1,10,100 AAVEs worth today<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Besides, spot volume dropped by over 25% over the same period, which could further tip the scale in favor of short-sellers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AAVE\u2019s futures market metrics were also negative. According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinglass.com\/currencies\/AAVE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coinglass<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the volume and Open Interest rates tanked by &gt;40% and 8%, respectively.
