While some in the crypto space have high hopes from the blockchain ahead of its halving, the broader crypto market seems to have a different opinion.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Read<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/predictions\/litecoin-price-prediction\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Litecoin\u2019s [LTC] Price Prediction<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2023-24<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Litecoin\u2019s price action also remained under the bears\u2019 influence, raising further concerns ahead of the major event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Litecoin&#8217;s halving is less than a week away<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be precise, just 3000 blocks remain until Litecoin\u2019s upcoming halving. As per<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicehash.com\/countdown\/ltc-halving-2023-08-06-11-00\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nicehash<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the event is expected to take place on 3 August. Though this is a major event and several are ambitious about Litecoin, its mining industry has been witnessing a decline. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For instance, Coinwarz\u2019<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinwarz.com\/mining\/litecoin\/hashrate-chart#:~:text=The%20current%20Litecoin%20hashrate%20is,all%20time%20Litecoin%20historical%20hashrates.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">chart<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> pointed out that the blockchain\u2019s hashrate has plummeted over the last few weeks. This was evident from the drop in its social volume over the last month. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whale activity around<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/whys-litecoins-hype-culling-as-halving-nears\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LTC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and trading volume also sank, suggesting that investors were not interested in trading the token at press time. As per <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/litecoin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CoinMarketCap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, LTC was down by nearly 3% over the last seven days. At the time of writing, it was trading at $91.03 with a market capitalization of over $6.6 billion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, Shan Belew, a popular crypto influencer, highlighted in a recent tweet that a bullish falling wedge had formed in LTC\u2019s price chart. The Exponential Moving Average (EMA) Ribbon revealed that the bulls and the bears were struggling to flip each other. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Litecoin\u2019s Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Money Flow Index (MFI) both moved sideways.
